The 68th Annual Bishop’s Luncheon took place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, and it continues to be an event that brings together Catholics of all ages from throughout our diocese for fellowship and to hear from our Bishop, the Most Reverend Edward Malesic. As part of this event, the 2026 Heart of a Servant Award was presented to the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine.

Each year, our February luncheon is dedicated to hearing the “State of the Diocese of Cleveland” from our Bishop. This event is planned for months in advance and usually has well over 500 attendees. Board members solicit sponsorships to help keep the individual prices at the same level as the other monthly luncheons and also to assist in the operations of the First Friday Club of Cleveland throughout the year. The sponsorship drive begins in early November and wraps up by December 15, at which point individual ticket sales open.
